Introducing the CX-U Series
• Based on Memotec’s proven voice processing hardware & software
– Leverages Memotec’s long history of success in RAN Optimization (GSM
satellite backhaul) and voice trunk compression (DCME) applications

• 1U chassis « system-on-a-blade »
– 1U high telco-grade 19’’ rack-mount chassis with front or rear mounting
– Fixed I/O configuration: simplified operation, increased reliability, smaller
footprint
– High reliability components & features, low maintenance, NEBS-3 compliant

• 4 models for scalability and cost efficiency

– CX-U1010 = 4 ports T1/E1 with modular 1 up to 4 interface processors
– CX-U1220 = 12 ports T1/E1 with modular 2 up to 6 interface processors
– CX-U1240 = 12 ports T1/E1 with modular 4 up to 8 interface processors
– CX-U1280 = 12 ports T1/E1 with modular 8 up to 12 interface processors
