    ASSIGNMENT NO.2

    Directions: Answer the following questions

    1. What is human right and how does it affect our daily living?

    For me Human rights is a privilege to have a freedom of an individual to express their opinions, thought,
    perspectives and suggestions to deliver their contributions in the society to solve different present issues
    that is happening nowadays. It is also playing an active role in promoting human rights and rejects the
    argument that this would be improper interference in the internal affairs of a country.  It is important
    for people of different religions to be treated equally, but not all, nations affirm that followers of any
    religion should be allowed to assemble and practice in their country. And it is also portraits that people
    of different races and ethnicities should be treated equally and respectful those employers, students or
    an individual should not be allowed to discriminate based on race or ethnicity and I think that it is the
    government’s responsibility to stop this from happening. The  government also should be responsible to
    take care of the poor and for ensuring that citizens can meet their basic needs for food, healthcare, and
    education. In general the human right is a power of an individual that can be a weapon to protect them
    to the different aspect in daily life living and serve as their freedom to considering all the things
    happening in awareness to development of society in terms of having a right power to advocate and
    promote the importance of human right as main principles of the people.

    2. What can you say on the human rights situation in the Philippines? Expand your answer.

    My opinions to the situations here in the Philippines in practicing the human rights is not absolutely well
    establish simple because most of the people here in our country may encountered different
    discriminations and inequality example as like this: is to their gender preferences and ethnicities that is
    one of the most issues that is including of not practicing human rights in the Philippines, although there
    are some people that is good in terms of practicing this, but it still unspeakable and considered as most
    of us are giving responsible to response with the right considerations to the differences of an individual.
    Moreover when we are look to the other situation we find out that status of some people is getting worse
    because of no justice like in the strategies of the government to solve problem that they need to kill
    people to prove that they are correct to their solutions as their response to the issues but the real is to
    promote their self-welfare not to solve the present issues. And I think that is the reasons why other
    people are also did not agree to the government protocol and regulations in our country because of failed
    results that give worse consequences to the Pilipino citizens.

    3. How will you promote human rights awareness?

    As SK Official or a member of Sangguniang Kabataan of Brgy. Tinga Laba, Batangas City, I will promote
    the human right awareness by providing and having a seminar including the new generations of an
    individual as main listeners in order to achieved the goals to advocate people and to be oriented about
    practicing and developing the response to the human right of an individual. I also suggest having activities
    to cover the importance of human rights in terms of communicating and addressing the limitations of one to
    another person’s to avoid the discriminations and inequality response to others. And as part of the new
    generation that really involves to the new strategies of sharing thought and perspectives I use my voice with
    the power of technology to share and to advocate people via social media like Facebook, Tweeter, IG and
    other social media platforms with the present of my limitations to speak out regarding the human rights of
    an individual that can be seen my post and my shared idea. Through this simple strategy and actions: I can
    able to wake people up about the importance and the consequences of having a good response to the issues
    about human rights not only here in the Philippines but also in other countries.
