Product introduction
The ultrasonic heat meter is applied to main and branch pipes in buildings or residential quaters ,
commonly used for the total measurement of the whole building or the small central system so that
the heat bill can be divided fairly in different ways. The ways and range of calculation are in
accordance with the users’ meters, which are more accurate, scientific and reasonable.
Product features
 Straight through stainless steel pipe for control, water-resistant and explosion-resistant meter
head, with sheath on the temperature sensor and communication wires to prevent rat bites,
suitable for any environment, safe and reliable.
 Using high quality enclosed energy transducer guarantees the accuracy and stability of the
flow measurement.
 Calculate and display the consumption value of the heat.
 Display the temperatures of in-flow water and out-flow water
 Display the temperature difference between in-flow water and out-flow water .
 Display instantaneous flow rate.
 Without any mechanical movement, abrasion, or influence by bad water quality, the
maintenance cost is very low.
 Low actuating water flow
 With an M-BUS optical output interface to realize remote automatic reading (RS485
optional).
 With automatic error diagnosis function to ensure the meter working with safety and
accuracy.
 The meter can be mounted conveniently on either in-pipe or out-pipe (specify when
ordering).
Performance features
The pipe network ultrasonic wave heat meter has an integrated straight and through structure made
in precise casting technique. It adopts the material of 304 stainless steel , with flange connected
and simple structure, convenient to be mounted and maintained; working stably and reliably
without any effect by the impurities, chemical substances, and magnetic materials in the medium;
without any mechanical movement and abrasion, and the accuracy won’t be affected by long-term
operating; using advanced low consumption designed MSP430 .The chip is made by TI company
from America; convenient to be mounted horizontally or vertically; suitable for both cold or hot
water.

Product Introduction
This RC type ultrasonic wave heat meter is an instrument measuring and displaying heat released
/absorbed by the heat carrying liquid in heat exchanging circuit.The unit of heat measurement is
KW·h. It consists in three parts , namely flow sensor, temperature sensor and calculator.
Application and Warnings

The installation requirements of the heat meter
Before installation, check the pipelines in the cleansing system thoroughly and remove silk,
hemp ,sand ,gravel and any other masses to avoid any flow hindrance.
 The flow meter should be installed in horizontal level, with the display window facing
upward.
 The water flows in the direction accordance with the arrow mark
 The diameter of the front and the back pipes should fit the flow meter
 10DN straight pipeline and 5DN straight line should be saved (DN is what we call the
diameter of the heat meter)
 Must use the gasket and connecting pipeline specially designed and manufactured by our
company.
 The sewage filter and the valve should be fixed at both ends of the flow meter for the
convenience of filth removing, maintaining and replacing.
 After the installation ,seal between the connecting bolt of the capsule and the heat meter,
between the temperature measuring ball valve and the platinum resistor.
 Best water inflow and outflow pipeline options for easy fixing.
The installation of temperature sensor

One temperature sensor with red tag is to be installed inside the heat measuring meter, the other
sensor with blue tag is to be built inside the temperature measuring ball valve.
The lead wire of the temperature sensor is not allowed to be lengthen, shorten or changed casually.

Household mechanical heat meter bears the features of high accuracy, steady operation, long using
life, no subjecting to inferior water and low maintaining cost .It can be widely used in
concentrated or regional heat supply system or separate household measuring in central air
condition system
