Eligibility
Students enrolled in the following levels will be eligible to participate in the respective papers as shown
in the table below:

Format
Students are required to answer 25 questions of increasing difficulty for a total of 100 marks, within
90 minutes, using a 2B or B pencil, without the use of calculators or electronic devices.

Awards
Top 40% of participants, locally, are awarded certificates and medals according to the table below.
Participants who fall short of the top 40% will be issued an electronic certificate of participation.
1. The SEAMO Competition Package will arrive One (1) Week before the competition date.
This includes the Question Booklets and Answer Scripts.
2. Candidates are to login to the SEAMO Portal to download and print their Hall Tickets for entry into
the exam hall - Candidate No. is to be written on the Answer Script for marking purposes.
3. All Question Booklets are to be collected immediately after the competition to prevent leakage and
ensure fairness among all participating countries.
4. The original hardcopy Answer Scripts are to be submitted via post to your country’s Secretariat
within Fourteen (14) Days of the Competition Day:
5. Top 40% of candidates, ranked domestically, will qualify for participation in the extended Global
Round of the competition – SEAMO X.
1. SEAMO is dedicated to providing an enjoyable experience for all participants in the time leading
up to, during and after the competition.
2. Schools and Organizations will receive full support in the organization of the following activities /
events:
a. Math Olympiad Training Bootcamps
b. Book Signing and Publicity Events with Mr Terry Chew
c. Awarding Ceremonies with Mr Terry Chew
