What is Email Newsletter Marketing and why is it an important 
medium for traffic? 
 
Newsletter marketing is the practice by which individuals, companies etc... 
send informational and product-focused content via an emailed letter to a 
subscriber list that comprises potential and existing customers.  
 
Online businesses utilize newsletters to keep their brand top-of-mind for 
consumers, establishing authority in the space and notifying readers of 
products that may interest them. 
 
Marketers use these emails to solicit sales, donations or even send ads to 
targeted audiences. The main purpose is to create brand awareness, build trust 
and loyalty among customers, as well as increase the customer base & purchase 
patterns. 
 
While most marketers would say, “​ the money is in the list”..​. Truth be told, 
that’s where the money is. If you want to get real traffic to your offers, you 
need to harness these method of traffic.

If you are into internet marketing like me, you might want to teach people how

As for me, I could just decide to teach people how to create landing pages in 
minute since I’ve been doing that for over 6 years. 
 
What I’d simply do would be to… create a very short report or video 
walkthrough on how to create a simple landing page.  
 
Once the means of delivery is completed, I’d just go ahead to create a squeeze 
page or optin page so I can use it as a medium to collect people's email address

The aim for setting up a squeeze page is simply to get leads. If you aren't getting 
that with the amount of effort, audience you are sending to the page, then 
you’ll have to tweak your page or ad copies.- and keep on driving as much 
visitors to it every single day.  
 
Once you get that done correctly, your next step should be putting them 
queued in an autoresponder sequence. 
 
This gives you the freedom to send out messages to them whenever you wish. 
You can schedule series of informational and promotional messages over a 30 
days period or more.  
 
Once you start sending out series of messages like the ones below, you’d want 
to set some measurable goals so you know how well your messages are

The essence why you use Email Marketing is simply to:

and if done correctly, you can get great conversion if you know how to write

Email marketing is one way to get fast conversion from traffic, and keep your 
business within the scope of your potential and existing customers. 

I reached out to one of my friend who just got into my niche and I saw him 
getting awesome result with Affiliate Marketing. So I reached out to him… if he

So you see, he was able to generate those sales repeatedly because he has a list of 
people he can always send out email messages too. 

That's all. Very Simple! 

We can even say this is the same traffic method used by Buhari to WIN votes in 
states/regions where it would have been difficult for him to do. How? 

He indirectly started WINNING people's heart (more percentage of groups of 

people that would be voting) by doing giveaways. 

1. Trader Money - aged people, self employed, traders etc... 

2. N-Power - educated youth 

Just these sets of people in those category helped him WIN as much votes… but 
then, using Osinbajo as the Pillar to do the work made it an indirect free 
giveaway from him.

2. Facebook Account 
 
With over 1.5 billion users, Facebook is the number one social network in the 
world. And if you think that all Facebook users ever do is post pictures of their 
children or wedding, you need to think again.  
A report from Shareaholic says that Facebook drives up to 25% of all traffic to 
websites. 
 
Over the years, I’ve seen ordinary people pull out massive engagement from 
their post using just their Facebook Account.

In short, I’ve seen a post by a writer… not a celeb… she pulled over 5k likes and 
2.5k shares on her post. 
 
There are certain strategies you need to put in place if you always want to get 
that constant traffic from your updates on Facebook. 
 
You also get a plus when your content begins to go viral… you will be adding 
up to your friend list on automation and as well adding up to your 
followership. 
 
Facebook traffic provides incredible opportunities to increase your reach.  
 
While many people are scared to use their timeline to sell off their stuffs, I 
broke the jinx last year too. I used to feel adamant selling directly on my 
timeline knowing fully well the kind of people following me. 
 
In November 2018, I decided to launch a product (eBook) that sold over 50 
copies in just two weeks using my Facebook timeline to sell it off. Although I 
used other platforms, but most of the sales came in from promotions done via 
my timeline.

and commissions. If you post the right content over time, you’ll definitely

3. Facebook Groups 
Facebook group is G ​ OLDMINE​but only just few people are using it to build 
up their income. With this social platform you can send a ton of traffic to your 
site and get your content in front of targeted groups of your ideal customers or 
clients.

You can use it to easily sell off ANYTHING you are good at or do a high ticket 
training. If your group is active and you have just 1,000 members…. You 
should be able to pull at least 5 to 10 persons to sign up for your training. 
 
Assuming you are charging… 20k… that means you should be making a 
minimum of 100k in pure profit. 
 
And you can always do this monthly or quarterly. 
 
And while you may think you need to pay to get in front of your ideal 
audience, there are many free ways to go about it, especially if you use 
Facebook groups. 
 
Here are the steps for generating mounds of free traffic from Facebook 
groups. 
 
● Find Relevant Facebook Groups 
● Find Out The Group’s “Promo Days” 
● Repurpose Your Content 
● Create Your Own Facebook Group 
 
There’s no doubt you’re probably on Facebook multiple times a day. But, 
instead of posting funny videos or memes, use Facebook – specifically 
Facebook groups – a​ s a traffic generator. 
 
By finding relevant groups, you can join a community, provide value-rich 
content and ultimately drive traffic back to your site. And by repurposing your 
existing content, you not only save time but also promote your content in a 
new way.

say that she makes money because I’ve once paid for sponsored advert.

Believe you me, she is seriously putting a lot of money on the table. 
 
She isn’t building a list from this group and she doesn’t even have a blog. Even 
if she has, I don’t think Ive ever seen her share a post there. 
 
One thing she could have done is… set up a blog… add adsense codes… position 
them well and start posting juicy content on it… and driving the traffic from 
her Facebook Group. 
 
  
 

 
 
Creating your own Facebook group can grow your brand, email list and get 
you real traffic. By helping your members and offering relevant content that’s 
specific and tailored to the group, you’ll win a lifelong audience.

Facebook group has really helped me as well in making huge cash online 
(​Online Monthly Income Forum​) and it’s very easy to tap on this platform for 
real, trusted and repetitive buyers. 
 

4. Facebook Paid advertising  

 
You’ve probably come across loads of promotional post on your Facebook 
newsfeed. This kind of posts are sponsored posts. They are paid for. 
 
Using Facebook Ads to increase website traffic appear as large, clickable images 
in people’s News Feeds on desktop and mobile devices. They are optimized to 
get more customers directly to your site with special offers, product sales or 
exclusive content. 
 
The most important thing is to focus on creating a great ad, and then targeting 
that ad to the right demographic.  
 
Regardless of your business model, incorporating Facebook ads into your 
marketing funnel can be a dependable way to drive customers to your site and, 
ultimately, boost sales. 
 
The concept is simple enough: You target prospective buyers on Facebook 
with an ad. But when it comes to Facebook, the real key is how to create 
sustainable traffic—in other words, campaigns that will deliver traffic reliably 
month over month. 
 
One thing I’ve never stopped doing is grabbing a copy of ads relating to my 
business. In short, I have a folder for them. So whenever I see a good ad in my 
niche, I simply screenshot and save to this folder. 
 
A typical example I saw was that of Akin Alabi. His recent conference  
in Ibadan was filled to capacity…. Over 5,000 attendees.

So before you invest any money in a Facebook ad campaign, understand your 
goals. There are three types of goals: 
 
● Awareness.​In this stage, you’re teaching people about your brand. You 
want consumers to recognize you. 
● Consideration.​When you get to the consideration phase, you’re 
starting to acquire leads. You might drive web traffic or collect contact 
information from consumers. 
● Conversion.​Now you want the customer to take an action, like buying 
your product or starting a free trial of your software. This is the ultimate 
goal for most small businesses. 
 
You can implement Facebook ads to do a lot of things like… get optins, drive 
traffic to your site etc…  
 
In fact, if you want to really get maximum return from every penny spent on 
ads, you can always direct the traffic to a the next traffic method below. 
 
A lot of friends have always asked me to do a video tutorial on Facebook Ads, 
the truth is… I really don’t know how to do it. 
 
I know how to set it up, reach out few people…. But when it comes to targeting 
the right audience and some other abracadabra that makes it converts, I really

5. Chatbot 
Messenger chatbots are also a great way to drive traffic to your website now 
that the Facebook algorithm no longer prioritizes social posting.  
 
With a chatbot, no algorithm is controlling what people see; you can control 
the conversation between your page and the user. Thus, driving traffic with a

chatbot is much easier than it is with a regular post to your Facebook page or 
even an email. 
 
One of the good ways you can grow your bot list is via your website and social 
media.- or you simply link it to a paid ads as stated earlier on. 
 
Using Facebook Ads + Chatbot gives crazy result. 
 
On your website pages, you can add personalized slide-ins and chat icons. A 
slide-in is like a pop-up window that says something like, “Would you like to 
receive a message the next time we share a blog post? If so, opt in on 
Messenger.” 
 
 
Messenger Bots Versus Email:​If you use Messenger bots in the right way, 
have great conversations with people, and follow the rules, the bot can have 
better ROI than email. That’s because a bot allows you to have a small but 
highly engaged list, which leads to a high conversion rate. Engagement matters 
much more than list size. 
 
Because Messenger isn’t saturated with marketing messages right now, people 
see your messages there more than they see your emails.  
 
I create and market lts of products month after month. 
 
In short I was surprised when one of my neighbour said was I selling Glo data, 
I was like…. No…. then she said…. Haba. You’ve started lying. 
 
She later said she saw it on Facebook. 
And I was like, I don’t sell any data on Facebook na…. That was when it 
dawned on me that I actually ran an ad at a particular time targeted at people in 
Ibadan.

That was just a month after selling a “Cash On Demand”. I wanted to have a

If you aren’t yet using Chatbot for your business in 2019, then you are 
seriously missing a lot. I wouldn’t say Chatbot is better than Email Marketing 
as some people do claim. No. 
 
Email Marketing is still the king. 
 
But having a chatbot system to complement every other traffic method is a very 
good idea especially when you combine Facebook Ads and Chatbot. The result

6. Twitter Free Account  

Take the opportunity to cross promote your blog on Twitter. Tweeting about 
your blog can be an incredible way to reach out and connect with your 
consumer. With over 500 million users, you can find lots of new readers 
through tweeting too. 

If you use Twitter well, it can drive tons of traffic back to your blog. But 
simply tweeting the title of your blog post with a link back to your site will not 
work. 

You need to be proactive.  

You need to be creative.  

You need to use great marketing when you are tweeting about your blog posts. 

I don’t use Twitter for marketing but Ive once read about using hashtags to

Technically you can try using the platform to gain traffic anyway, hoping no 
customer will complain or mention it in a review and hoping a competitor 
seller on Amazon does not find out and complain so that Amazon gives you 
the boot. You run the risk of having your account shut down by doing this, so 
it depends on your comfort level.  
 
What I would do to build traffic off from Amazon is: 
1. include an invoice with each order including your contact information 
and logo, and in that contact information include the URL. A small 
company I work with has not run into problems with that (yet.) 
 
If possible, I would suggest making your username on Amazon your website 
name. For example, if your username is “mystore”, if a customer wanted to 
find you they would probably try visiting mystore .com. In your about us, keep 
mentioning mystore so customers get to know your brand’s name.

2. An email list for a newsletter is not a bad idea, but technically it should be 
opt-in (for spam laws). If you spam a customer and they get angry and 
complain to Amazon that could risk your account too. I would avoid doing 
this through Amazon’s messaging system but maybe after you ship their order 
you can email them saying did you get your order ok, how is everything, by the 
way do you want to join our newsletter for news, information, discounts, and 
contests.  
 
Amazon is a good way to send customers to your site, gain site traffic and save 
Amazon fees, but having sales in both places can be an advantage. It can also be 
good extra exposure for your brand if your Amazon store or listing comes up in 
a Google search (especially over anything negative). My advice is to not get 
greedy and obey Amazon’s TOS and once a customer is aware of you and has a 
good experience they may just go directly to your website next time. 
 
 
16. Guest Blogging 
Guest blogging gives you a backlink (helps SEO) and gives your access to 
the featuring blog’s marketing, you can continually drive traffic to your 
blog—with zero effort. 
 
Many bloggers or webmasters drive audiences to their websites amounting 
more than yours. Approach these people and ask them if they would like you 
to write a post for their blog. Not only will you possibly get traffic flocking to 
your site, it will also get you quality backlinks that will boost the ranking of 
your site on search engines. In addition, you would be networking and

Banner advertising can be used to increase traffic and sales, as well as create

from the rest is always going to be a win. 
 
It’s important to remember the role of the banner. You’re not trying to convert 
a visitor into a paying customer just yet, which is for the landing page. The

generate web traffic. If you have an authoritative blog, you can go at all length 
to get it featured on other niche sites. 
 
Networking with top bloggers in your niche as well will definitely give you 
great conversion when it comes to your blog awareness. 
 
20. Bing  
Arguably, Bing traffic generally has a better conversion rate than that from 
Google. This is an observation many marketers made, myself included. Here's a 
screenshot from a Google Analytics report for one of our sites: 

You can see that both Yahoo and Bing have roughly a 20% conversion rate, 
while Google's is 16.5%. I'm not completely sure why that is, but it could have 
to do with the fact that Bing's demographic is, on average, more mature in age 
(for the most part, 35+) and has more money to spend.

tends to favor older websites with more official domain names, such as 
.edu or .gov.  
● Google is far more intuitive about the context of a page, Bing still relies

The term “joint venture” (or JV) has different contexts depending on the type 
of business or interaction. Most people think of them as being longer-term 
relationships, and the process of building things together, but in the internet 
world, joint venture marketing is the process of coordinating specific 
promotions. 
 
In general, one party has a list or audience of a certain market that they provide 
quality content to, and the other party has a product that complements the 
message from the first party. They will email their audience, inviting access to 
free training and, at the end, offer a deeper dive product or path to go further… 
The two parties then share revenue from the promotion together. 
 
If you have an online product and want to scale up without having to put your

I asked myself a very fundamental question: What are the largest and most 
successful “dot coms” of the world doing to drive traffic to their site and 
increase branding? The answers overwhelmingly pointed to TV. 
 
You can pay to get on TV as a guest, but you can also create a reputation for 
yourself as someone who is an authority on a very specific topic, and you’ll find 
it’s a lot easier to get that interview. 
 
You’ll need to heavily focus on those relationships through–networking with 
media people, starting lower (like podcasts and radio), connect with journalists, 
etc. Most importantly, you’ll need to actually do something that could be 
featured on the news. Not an easy feat, but you can get creative! 
 

46. Terrestrial Radio  

Whether you have a large advertising budget, or you’re starting on pennies, 
Internet radio is a unique medium well worth looking into. 
 
Radio stations, even Internet stations, typically provide you with information 
on their average listening, peak listening times and which shows get the most

That said, no matter how amazing your videos happen to be, there will always

Youtube channel and I must say it looks interesting. But there isn’t time to 
keep it going.  
 
48. Forums 
Forums are great places to pull targeted traffic. 
 
Few years back when I was so active on my techblog (TechPrePro). The only 
traffic medium I usually use was social media. Each time I publish a new post, I 
just simply share it across all social media platforms. S

niche blog, I decided to give “forum marketing” the chance.  
 
Now how that works is that you sign up for a free membership in places like 
Warrior Forum o​ r ​Digital Point​. These are the biggest forums and discussion 
groups about internet marketing and how to make money online. It’s free to 
sign up so in case you are not then I highly recommend doing so today. 
 
After you sign up you can edit your account details and profile and put in your 
“signature”. That’s where you want to put our blog or website so that when 
you comment people will see your face and your website. Now of course you 
want to be helpful and give value to the group by commenting on people’s 
threads and be active.  
 
People will start to appreciate it and check if you have more content and thus 
going to your website.

While we ALL want to get ahead of our competitors on search engine at the 
shortest possible time. One of the best way to achieve that is to make use of 
tools and apps that speed up your reach and conversion. 
 
There are hundreds of good software that can do the job for you if you 
research on them. 
I have used tens of traffic software in the past and it would be difficult to 
recommend just one. I remember one of my highest paid gig when I first 
started freelancing. 
 
I used a software back then “​Fan Machine​” by Ankur Shukla to land a client 
who paid me over $500 for a simple blog set up and adsense integration. 
 
The software was just working like magic as it was automatically getting me 
foreign clients who needed adsense accounts.

becomes a follower for life. Even if they don’t get to buy any of your stuffs at 
the moment, they will certainly respond later on. And that's more reason you 
need to keep growing it day after day. 
 
I have lots of guys still getting my products since 2015 when I started building
