    1. In your opinion, is it inappropriate for two people of very different status (such as a
    CEO and an assistant) to be on a first-name basis? Explain.

    Depends on their relationship.


    Close friends, regardless of status, always go on first name basis.
    Or family members

    2. In general, when do you think people should use first name with each other? When
    should they use titles and last name? Explain your reasons.
    The first name should be used with friends in a more informal way, however the title when
    it is something more formal and you show respect for the person you are addressing
