Future Development

NOX Removal Unit


The NOX evacuation unit is a future improvement that can be added to the
current procedure. This unit will be liable for evacuating NOX that are delivered in
the furnace.

The current framework evacuates just the SOX that are available in the flammable
gas by changing over it into H2S in the desulfurizer unit. The NOX are not
evacuated by the framework and straightforwardly to the stack alongside other
flue gases. Greater level of NOX can cause eye aggravation and can cause
respiratory issues as well. The NOX expelling unit will work to such that the
nitrogen oxides will be changed over into free nitrogen and oxygen which can be
utilized in the last piece of Ammonia production as follows:

1. The nitrogen discharged can be added to the current nitrogen created in the Air
Separation Unit or if not required it might be arranged off securely into the air.

2. The oxygen can be directed to some other plant requiring oxygen as raw
material for creation (for example caprolactum plant) along with the current
oxygen coming from the shift reactor or can be stored or even be securely
arranged into the environment
