What Do You Need To Know?: Lesson 2: Procedure in The Use and Care of Caregiving Tools

OBJECTIVES:
By the end of the lesson, the students will be able to:
Cite the steps in operating a blender, a food processor, bottler sterilizer, flat iron, washing
machine, and dryer;
Explain how to take vital sign such as blood pressure, pulse rate, body temperature, and
respiratory rate;
Demonstrate how to operate the different tools, equipment, and paraphernalia in preparing
meals, in washing, and in taking vital signs;
Explain the steps in cleaning the different tool, equipment, and paraphernalia; and
Demonstrate the steps in cleaning the different tools, equipment, and paraphernalia.
To get the most out of using caregiving tools and equipment, you have to use them
properly. By using them properly, they become efficient, last long, and maintain their good
working condition. You should know how to operate step-by-step some of the most used
tools and equipment in caregiving.

equipment. Record in your notebook or in Microsoft word the results and findings of his/her
demonstration. Present or to your teacher via Gmail for checking.
