Rules, Regulations & Precautions for the Students

1. Respect your teachers and elders.


2. Dress properly during the lab session by wearing apron.  
3. Should wear shoes and no sandals allowed on lab days.
4. You are expected to arrive on time and not depart before the end of a laboratory.
5. You must not enter a lab unless you have permission from a technician or Lab In-Charge.
6. You are expected to comply with instructions, written or oral, that the lab In-Charge gives you
during the course of the laboratory session.
7. You should behave in an orderly fashion at all times in the lab.
8. You must not stand on the stools or benches in the laboratory.
9. Keep the workbench tidy and do not place coats and bags on the benches.
10. You must ensure that at the end of the laboratory session all equipment used is stored away
where you found it.
11. You must put all rubbish such as papers, outside in the corridor bins. Broken components should
be returned to the lab technician for safe disposal.
12. You must not remove test equipment, test leads or power cables from any lab without
permission.
13. Do not eat food or chew gum in the laboratory.
14. The use of mobile phones during laboratory sessions is forbidden.
15. Neatly arrange your chairs/stools before leaving the Lab.
16. Switch off lights, fans and any other equipment before leaving the Lab.
17. Get evaluate your observation and record book as on date.
18. Carry your observation and record book regularly to the Lab. In case, if you forget, get prior
permission from the concerned teacher without fail.
19. Should attend the lab regularly and get permission in prior to avail leave during lab sessions.
20. No one is allowed in the lab while another class is in progress or at other than posted lab hours
without permission of the teacher (s) involved.
