Hydrometer Correction Table

This document contains tables of values for effective depth, composite temperature correction, and the coefficient K used in calculating particle diameter from hydrometer tests. The effective depth decreases from 16.3 cm to 8.4 cm as the hydrometer reading increases from 0 to 30. The composite temperature correction becomes less negative as the temperature increases from 19 to 35 degrees C. The value of K decreases as temperature increases and specific gravity increases, ranging from 0.01531 to 0.01149.
