Details of Utilities and Felling of Trees


1. The shifting of electrical utilities and felling of trees shall be carried out by the
Contractor. The cost of the utility shifting as described in below table shall be borne
by the EPC Contractor. However, the supervision charges for utility shifting shall
be paid by the authority directly to the utility owning department. The contractor
shall deposit the scrap/dismantled material to the utility owning department and
produce a receipt in this regard to the authority.
2. , which are presently located within ROW are exhibited
in the utility relocation plan and these are thus to be realigned/shifted outside
present ROW but within the redefined ROW for road widening works. These works
are further described below for clarity.

Note: The prospective bidder/ agency should satisfy himself about the quantities and
quantum of utility shifting work involved well before the bid due date and it is made
clear in unequivocal terms that any changes/variation in quantities of over ground
utilities mentioned in Schedule-B1 will be executed by the contractor at no extra cost
to the Authority and the amount quoted by the contractor shall be deemed to be
inclusive of any such variation in the quantity of utility shifting actually executed at
site. The underground utilities found in excess of prescribed in Schedule B1shall be
shifted under CoS. The contractor will be thus fully responsible to shift all the
electrical works out of present ROW.

Schedule B-2
1. Responsibility of Removal of structure (if any) with in the ROW shall be taken up by
the contractor.
