TC Terminal Circuit

This document provides diagnostic procedures for the supplemental restraint system (SRS) circuit. It describes the circuit, which uses the TC and CG terminals of the DLC3 to output diagnostic trouble codes (DTCs) by blinking the SRS warning light. The procedures check the wiring harness between the DLC3 and airbag sensor assembly center for a resistance below 1 ohm, and between the DLC3 CG terminal and body ground for a resistance below 1 ohm. It also checks the resistance between the airbag sensor assembly center TC terminal and body ground, which should be 1 megohm or higher.

HINT:
When each warning light stays blinking, ground short in the wiring until the terminal TC of the DLC3 or internal
ground short in each ECU is suspected.
