    DECLARATION OF PHILIPPINE INDEPENDENCE


    CRITERIA EXPLANATION

    Relevance The declaration of Philippine Independence is


    important for the people at that time. It was the
    time wherein Filipinos had finally achieved its
    freedom from all the hardships they suffered from
    Spaniards and it’s still very relevant to us now.

    Resonance The Filipinos were deeply affected by this


    proclamation especially those people who risk their
    lives for the freedom of our country.

    Remarkable We all know that the Declaration of Philippine


    Independence is very remarkable in our history.

    Remembered This historical event definitely marked in Filipinos’


    hearts and minds.

    Revealing It reveals that the Philippines was colonized by


    Spaniards for how many years.

    Resulting This event creates changes in our country. If not


    Change because of this, we are still colonized by Spanish
    for sure by now. We cannot enjoy the full power which
    an independent country has and cannot freely act and
    do things.

    Durability This event will have a long-lasting effect on us,


    Filipinos, and on our country.

    Quantity This event affects every Filipino citizen.

    Profundity This event deeply affects the lives of many


    Filipinos.
