Google Shopping: A
threat to e-commerce
giants or a boon to

In a recent blog post sent out by Google’s

President of Commerce, the search engine

giant announced free ad listings on its

shopping platform – Google Shopping. With

the e-commerce industry in India at a market

size of USD 50 Billion, largely dominated by

Global brands
Flipkart and Amazon, this move could not have

been more timely with Facebook announcing
