This document provides instructions for searching and previewing PUB map products using the PUB website. It describes two methods: 1) using the product search bar and 2) using the map search tool. For both methods, the user searches for an address or land lot, previews selected plans, adds items to their cart, checks out, pays, and can then download their invoice and purchased products. Appendices provide more details on the map tools and different types of available previews.

Method 1 - Using Product Search in product page

1. Visit INLIS homepage and under product listing menu, click Borehole and Utility Information
2. Click PUB link
3. Redirected to Singpass login screen. Enter credentials and login.
4. On the PUB product page, search using the search key such as address or land lot
5. Upon search, user will be redirected to product preview page
6. Choose plan and click preview to see individual plan preview or click preview all button to see the entire plan
previews. To clear all the selected lots, use erase button (refer to maps and tools in the appendices).
7. Once preview is loaded, add the product to cart. “Item successfully added to your cart” message will be displayed.
Click proceed to checkout.
8. Subsequently, User is redirected to the shopping cart page. In this page, user has to check product details for
confirmation, and fill in contact information. Accept the terms and conditions and click pay with credit.
9. Check important information and choose payment type. Fill in information and submit
10. Once payment is completed, it will bring the user to payment confirmation page.
11. Click on Download invoice/product.
Method 2 – Using Map search in product page

1. Click Map search (From method 1 Step 4)


2. Zoom into the map to a scale of 1:3000
3. Choose lots using the tools provided in the map (Appendices for more information). The remaining steps are the
same in method 1 step 5 onwards.

Map Viewer and tools

 The map viewer will have the following tools:

a) Point Selection with Buffer

b) Polygonal Selection

c) Rectangular Selection

d) Single point selection

e) Zoom In

f) Zoom Out

g) Full Screen

h) Minimize Screen

i) Toggle -

j) - Clear All selections


k) - Pan

 Below tool tip can be provided for map viewer tools


a) Point Selection
b) Type the buffer to select lots
c) Draw rectangle to select lots
d) Draw polygon to select lots
e) Clear All Selection in the Map
 Display Scale information in the Map viewer to adjust the scale for the map accordingly and North arrow to be
provided to indicate the direction in the Map viewer.
 Single lot selection (Point Selection) will be available in all the scale.
 Rectangular, Polygonal and Point selection with buffer selections will only be available for scale equal to or less than
10,000 in the map viewer
 The below message prompts when user attempts to select a lot or draw geometry on the map. Click erase button to
clear any existing lots or geometry in the map and proceed.
