During the Construction phase, monitor compliance of environmental management
plan and/or environmental mitigation action plan as well as any other environmental
issues in co-ordination with WUSCs, DWSS, NGOs and other stakeholders. Provide
training to WUSC, in coordination with PMO, for environmental management and
monitoring during construction and operation, Review design changes and if these
warrant revisions of the existing or a new IEE/EIA, initiate the EA process in
accordance with the Environmental Assessment and Review Framework and
Procedures following the design changes and ensure these changes are integrated
into contract documents and implemented, Coordinate with PMQAC’s Team Leader,
Environmental Specialist for the environmental matters of subprojects, Preparation
of Environmental Safeguard and Monitoring Report in monthly, quarterly semi-
annual and yearly basis. Proactively anticipate and carry out any other activity as
