GUIDELINES FOR ONLINE CLASS

1. Read/review the concepts and lessons. Scanned books and lectures are included; going online for long periods is
not necessary anymore.
2. Most of the answers needed for the activities are either in the provided materials or just common/basic
knowledge.
3. Online meetings will be ONCE A WEEK PER SUBJECT
a. Unless there really is no need for online meetings since all instructions/materials are given and explained
therefore there may be weeks with no video conferencing
b. Unless there is a need to have an additional meeting for the week

5. For questions you can message thru the following (​Note: These may change because of the institutional

6. How to answer the activities? Files to be used as answer sheets will be provided. You can choose from the
following since what I’ll receive are just softcopies of your outputs only.
a. For essay questions, just write/type your answers
b. For multiple choice questions, just write the letter of your choice
c. For true or false, just write true or false unless modified; if it is modified, then write/type ​false and
write/type the word/phrase making the statement false then write/type the word/phrase to make the
statement true
Example Statement: I am a member of the basic education department faculty.
Example Answer: False, basic, higher
d. For computations or problem solving, show your solutions
i. If handwritten, please write legibly. As much as possible, emphasize your final answer by
highlighting, underlining, or boxing it. I will not guess which your final answer is.
ii. If typewritten, as much as possible, use the ‘insert equation/formula’ instead of just simply typing
the numbers and all

7. Submission of outputs is PER SUBJECT which means ALL ACTIVITIES/EXERCISES given will be in ONE PDF
FILE/FOLDER ONLY.
Example: you have HRM & HBO, this means
- If you took pictures, you need to make one folder for HRM and another for HBO. ​DO NOT TAKE
PICTURES OF YOUR OUTPUT THEN ATTACH THESE IN A WORD FILE THEN YOU’LL SAVE
THAT FILE AS PDF, ​PLEASE DO NOT DO THIS.
- If you saved the answer sheet as PDF, do not and never change anything in the layout just input
your answers

9. Rename your PDF files/folder following this format

10. Files submitted will be uploaded in a Google Drive unless otherwise

3. Read the lectures in advance and list concepts/terms/topics you find hard/difficult to understand
4. During class meetings (video meetings), we’ll follow the topic sequence but we’ll emphasize on
discussing those you’ve listed. (You may send a message before lecture/discussion starts)
5. Before class meetings (video meetings) end, you may raise questions and clarifications regarding the
lesson or the activities I’ll give or have given
6. For online consultations (chatting), you should send ​formal questions regarding those
concepts/terms/topics then I’ll reply which may be thru the chatroom as well or I may send a recorded
video or videos/links from the internet to further explain and answer your questions
7. In the chatroom, if someone in the class knows the answer to some questions asked, you may reply
and answer them (this may be a part of your recitation)
8. Strictly no other topics discussed in the chatrooms. No gossiping, no announcements regarding other
subjects (You should have a separate chat room for those).

b. How to change this? You need to fix and organize your main email account
11. Profile picture used should at least be like a formal photo used for IDs
12. Attire during video conferencing should either be a polo shirt or a t-shirt
