Arah adalah petunjuk untuk menuju ke suatu tempat. Arah yang dimaksud di sini antara lain
lurus (go ahead), belok kanan ( turn right), belok kiri (turn right), pertigaan (T-junction),
perempatan (crossroad), di sebelah kanan (on the right side), di sebelah kiri (on the left
side), di sudut/pojok (on the corner), simpang lima (5-junction), berputar arah (turn around)
Tourist : Hello.
Citizen : Hi. What can I help you?
Tourist : Sorry to bother you. But, could you tell me where the nearest supermarket is?
(Asking direction)
Citizen : Which supermarket do you want to go? There are regular supermarket and
Asian supermarket around here.
Tourist : Err… Regular supermarket, I suppose.
Citizen : Then, you can go by walking. It’s about two blocks from here. Go along this
road until you pass a blue building. The supermarket is across that building.
(Giving direction)
Tourist : That’s a clear direction. Thank you!
Citizen : No problem. Be careful. There might be a construction there.
Tourist : Of course!

Tourist: Okay. Where should I go from there?
Citizen: If you take a taxi, you can get off right at the train station. Just ask the driver to go to
Grand City Train Station.
Tourist: And, how to go there by a bus?
Citizen: Just take a bus number 003 and get off at Grand City Train Station bus stop.
Tourist: Is it far from the bus stop?
Citizen: No. it’s pretty near from there. The bus stop is around 200 meters from the station.
