 Set Up Some Structure

A very structured work environment would help Kannan,” Strategies include

getting as much consistency as possible in terms of the projects he work on, his
deadlines, the people on his team, job description, hours, and your understanding
of chains of command.

 Shun Shift Work

One of the most important elements of a structured workplace is consistent

scheduling. Kannan requires a proper schedule which should not have long
working hours with less time for sleep. Inconsistent sleep schedules alter circadian
rhythms and have been found to trigger episodes in people bipolar disorder.
Getting an adequate amount of sleep on a regular basis is part of the daily
structure that underlies career success for people with bipolar disorder
 Flexibility at work place

If possible, kannan might benefit from flexible scheduling that allows him to
choose work hours that are less stressful (such as working earlier in the morning
before everyone else arrives) or to work from home for all or part of the week.

 Rights and legality

Mr kannan has been sensitized about the Indian law on mental health and
which can be useful in his transfer.
