During ultrasound therapy, the impedance change of the transducer is used to judge the

(in water) state, the probe performs output as is set. In the no contact (in air) state, output
goes into standby mode and weakens the output slightly.
When output, the LCD window, the front panel LED and the probe LED indicate output. .
Also, therapy stops if output standby status lasts for 3 minutes.

US-751 General information

Operation theory

US-751 is a ultrasound pain relief device utilizing thermal and non thermal
physiologic reaction of the tissue which is caused by the delivered ultrasound of
the device.
US-751 generates the two frequency of 1MHz and 3MHz of which their level are
controlled by the level controller circuit and drives the transducer to inject the
ultrasound vibration to treat the affected tissue.
The power of each circuit are supplied from commercial AC which is converted
to DC in the power regulator.
CPU controls output level, timer, error detection, display control, and display
functions.
LCD and LED display the status of manipulation of touch panel, switches,
and encoder.
User can select the ultrasound probe from S-type or L-type according to the
treatment part.

Function of each part

1. Main unit
(1) Cover
Cover is made of synthetic resin which is insulator.

(2) Power supply

Converts commercial AC to DC and supply it to the circuit.

(3) Display control

Displays the status of manipulated switch and touch panel.
Communicates with the CPU in the ultrasound probe (L & S) to control
the ultrasound output level, display error, and identify probe type.
Generates 1MHz or 3MHz, drives the output power circuit to deliver the
ultrasound to the probe.
Detects the phase to control the frequency of the ultrasound while
detecting voltage and current of the ultrasound to control the output power
source.
Communicates with the display controller and the CPU of the ultrasound
probe to exchange error information and others.
The output VR increases or decreases the ultrasound output.

(4) Ultrasound probe (L) / (S)

Converts the ultrasound signal to the ultrasound vibration for treatment
which is irradiated to the treatment part.

8
US-751 Notes of Operation and Usage

1. Usage
(1) Parameter setting.
LCD touch panel is used to select, change, or set the output parameters.

(2) Intensity setting of the LCD

LCD touch panel is used to set the LCD intensity.

(3) Starting output

Rotation of the output controller VR or manipulation of the LCD touch
panel starts output.
LED of the ultrasound probe (L,S) will light up while the probe head
touches on the skin properly.

(4) Stop of the output

Pressing the STOP switch stops the output.

2. Low frequency combination treatment

(1) US-751 is able to perform the combination treatment with low frequency
treatment equipment and low frequency treatment/interference current
type low frequency combination physio therapy equipment.

For the use of combination treatment, connect the E.S.T connector of

US-751 to low frequency treatment equipment with the dedicated E.S.T
cable.
Connect low frequency electrode pad to the ƒ³2 plug, connects the square
connector to the E.S.T cable outlet of US-751 and connect the output
connector to the low frequency therapy equipment.

Note: The low frequency electrode pad is electrically plus (+) and the
ultrasound probe is minus (-).
Please maintain the low frequency electrode pad distance from the
ultrasound probe head.

3. After use
(1) Clean the probe head and keep it in a dry place.
