PROGRAM OUTLINE

MICRO-COMPUTERS AND NETWORKING SYSTEMS

Individuals trained in microcomputer and networking systems provide problem solving services
to network users. The widespread use of the Internet has led to the use of routers, proxies,
firewalls, VPN (Virtual Private Networks) and now cloud computing and virtualization. Students
will acquire the competencies and skills needed to administer a network and offer efficient
technical support to users as well as plan for future network growth in an enterprise–wide
environment.

BUSINESS ADMINISTRATION (MARKETING AND SALES)

Business Administration presents a variety of different career tracks, including;
finance/accounting, customer service, sales and marketing. Individuals in this role are typically
responsible for using common operating systems and software for administrative purposes,
analyzing and processing accounting data, establishing marketing plans, or selling products and
services to customers.

international distribution, researching and evaluating International suppliers and development
of international trade agreements.

EARLY CHILDHOOD EDUCATION

The Early Childhood Education program aims to provide participants with the training necessary
to act as early childhood educators and assistants in a day care setting. Early childhood educators
plan and organize activities for preschool or school‐aged children. Early childhood educator
assistants provide care for preschool‐age children under the supervision of early childhood
educators.

COMPUTER AIDED DESIGN AND DRAFTING (CADD)

Herzing College’s CADD Department has an interdisciplinary program in tune with the latest
global trends in technical education. The unique methodology of the practice oriented training
at Herzing College CADD is learning by doing, while working with accuracy and precision; igniting
new ideas and innovation. The right work habits, a sense of responsibility, co‐action and
leadership qualities are emphasized in the process, while using the latest software and measuring
tools available. By successfully completing this course, students are ready for the real world
demand of trained designers and drafters. This course offers students a 16‐week internship with
leading designing and manufacturing companies in the province. This gives graduates an edge

BELOW ARE A FEW POINTS FOR YOUR CLARIFICATION.

 The Student will be on a waiting list (International Applicant) until the student submits a valid
copy of the CAQ and Visa or Study permit.
 A Letter of Acceptance does not guarantee a place in the class. It places the student on a waiting
list until the student receives the CAQ and Visa or Study Permit.
 In order to have a seat confirmation the student must submit all documents (CAQ and Visa or
Study Visa) as soon as they receive them. Once we receive their CAQ and Visa or Study Visa we
will send the student the educational contract and the student must sign the contract and send
it back to their Admission Advisor as soon as possible to receive their seat confirmation.
 If you are applying from abroad, (outside of Canada) and before purchasing your plane ticket,
you must contact your Admissions Advisor to confirm if the student’s place in the class is
confirmed. This is necessary, required and very important before coming to Quebec! Capacity is
very limited. DO NOT PURCHASE AN AIRLINE TICKET WITHOUT A SEAT CONFIRMATION.

The College reserves the right to change the start date, end date and internship date of a program or to adjust class schedules or
merge existing classes to warrant continuance if deemed necessary, while respecting the language of instruction of your program.
