Proposal of the Company


The company plans to establish a manufacturing facility for LITHIUM-
ION CELLS & BATTERY PACKS FOR EVs in
Chennai/Kancheepuram/Tiruvallur/Tiruvannamalai Districts, Tamilnadu
with a proposed investment of Rs. 500 crores over 6 years from
01.01.2021 – 31.12.2026, creating direct employment of 200 permanent
jobs and 100 contract jobs. We have signed a JV MOU with the AHGK
Group, Korea and they will bring in investment as well as Technology and
machinery for the project. A new Company would be formed for the
purpose.
The TN Guidance Bureau has been extremely helpful in highlighting the
locational advantages of Tamilnadu, incentives offered and also
availability of suitable land.
