Final Project. ANDROMEDA

This document provides a justification and theoretical framework for a student project on the topic of "Defense of the environment and natural wealth as citizen's rights." It begins by defining key concepts - environment, natural wealth, and citizen's rights. It explains that the environment consists of natural and non-natural components that are linked and can be modified by humans. Natural wealth refers to the natural resources in a region that are important for social and economic growth. Citizen's rights are the interests and codes individuals have towards their nation-state due to being members. The document argues that protecting the environment and natural wealth is a responsibility of all citizens since environmental deterioration affects everyone globally. It cites sources discussing the need to recognize nature's rights

PROJECT: FINAL PROJECT

JUSTIFICATION AND THEORETICAL FRAMEWORK

For the English project we will focus on the issue of “Defense of the environment and
natural wealth as citizen's rights” because, since the environment and nature is increasingly
affected nowadays and many of us do not know how dangerous this can be for the society
in the near future, just as it is our right to worry about and take care of the planet earth,
which is our home. So, this project has as purpose show the importance of this issue and to
show how endangered environment is not only our country but the entire planet, as well as
to base our exposition with well-founded arguments and thus achieve a greater impact on
the public.
First you must define the particular concepts to be able to understand the subject in
general, the first concept "environment" is defined as a structure composed of natural and
non-natural components, both are linked, and in turn, undergo modifications by humans;
This context facilitates the confirmation of life at the social level, in an immersed way
come to both cultural and natural values. Conserve what is transcendental to maintain
human descent, being fundamental to eradicate a short-term mentality, but to think about
our later generations (Pérez, J. and Gardey, A. 2009).
The second concept used is "natural wealth" refers to the natural resources found in
a certain region, these being of great importance for social and economic growth. The
natural wealth is made up of flora, fauna, aquifers, salients and even the climate. Depending
on the elements that comprise it will be the way to exploit it, the locals of each region take
advantage of the resources offered by the planet, unfortunately, many times we fall into
abuse causing the disappearance of non-renewable resources, and even renewable ones if
we do not offer them enough time to recover (Pérez, J. and Merino, M. 2014).
Finally, for an in-depth understanding of the research, it is necessary to define the
"citizen right" as the code and interests that individuals have towards the nation-state to
which they belong, by virtue of being members. The state and the citizen maintain a
dependency, because the State is responsible for the citizen, in turn, the citizenship is
responsible for the State and its proper functioning.
From the previously discussed concepts we facilitate the understanding of the theme
"Defense of the environment and natural wealth as citizen's rights", this being a
responsibility of all because we belong to the same world, even if we are divided by
borders between countries environmental deterioration not only affects a country, as it was
mentioned in the concept "citizen right" there must be a reciprocity between the citizenship
and the State, looking for a common good, in this case we must seek to promote an
ecological education, take advantage of the resources that each region offers without falling
into over-exploitation, because we live in an era where resources are increasingly restricted,
opening the possibility that our future generations no longer know the environment in the
same way we live.
One of the authors that we occupy for the research tells us that “Making this
fundamental shift means recognizing our dependence on nature and respecting our need to
live in harmony with the natural world. This means securing the highest legal protection
and the highest societal value on nature through the recognition of rights” (Francis, 2015).
The comment of this author is important because we must raise awareness and realize what
is happening in the 21st century, something that we take as "normal" is the opposite.
In the same way one of the sources tells us that the things that humans should do to
keep environment fine, we've chosen a source that is a kind of legislation in Perú, this
legislation say´s that it was made to regulate the human activities that can alter the natural
order of things.
Other source explains that every country has its own rules to regulate the
environmental problems, it talks about the way that the environmental rules have changed
over the years.
The environment it’s changing too fast, humans have changed, that what these
sources say, the best way to get this according to these sources is thinking about the
problem with other people, to make them understand what is happening with our world.

First Poem

-Title: Until when?

- Theme: Defense of the environment and natural wealth as citizen's rights.
Religious people say that was the work of God,
the scientists argue that it was the matter and their interaction,
the poets believe that it was a perfect rhyme;
regardless of the reason for its creation
What have we done to take care of the environment?

What has been of those trees that witnessed the first kiss of the lovers,
or that was the shadow of tireless workers
and even the home of natural life
They were cut down, destroyed, eliminated,
only for our own benefit.
Of those creatures that have accompanied humanity for centuries,
Now, where are they?
on a piece of paper with the word "extinct" on their faces
or being used as a decoration.
From the crystal clear water that allowed us to see our reflection,
now there is only one memory left
And the populations have been losing their sense of protection every day,
finding a couple of coins more satisfactory instead of a better future for life
Over time we have invaded our home
Creating machines that only deteriorate life
exploiting the resources that it gives us
killing animals as a sport
and eliminating habitats for pleasure.
Losing us in the midst of greed,
How much more do we need to lose to react?
When are we going to stop?
Until oxygen does not pass through our lungs
Until there is only more death instead of more life
Or when there is simply nothing left.
The stars that used to guide our way
Now they are covered in smog
Our ancestors would feel disappointment
Our planet is hurt
The citizen has stopped being
The irresponsible has gained prominence
The unprotected are ignored
Among that grass where we grew
There are only kilometers of the concrete jungle
The buildings grow
Our hopes are lacking
Between us there is nothing but disinterest
The singing of birds is an old memory
The morning bridle is the crying of the planet
The earthquakes chills
Forest fires burn as our salvation
As the furthest time passes, you see the solution
The deterioration does not stop
Animals beg for mercy
We wait without acting
The tornadoes, the consequence of our apathy
Here I ask you: What are you doing?
Be indifferent first of all
Be a citizen of change
Be part of the world
Be a being with the world and for him

Los religiosos dicen que fue obra de Dios,

los científicos argumentan que fue cuestión de materia y su interacción,
los poetas creen que fue una rima perfecta;

Second Poem

-Title: How many more?

- Theme: Defense of the environment and natural wealth as citizen's rights.
Hello I am Harambe, I am 17 years old and I am a gorilla
there are not many of my species left,
I live in a closed place,
I've always been here,
I would like to be able to go further away from that giant thing that will not let me out,
but I've never been able,
When spring came, something had fallen on the fence,
I decided to go investigate and discovered a child,
suddenly something started making a lot of noise and scared me,
I wanted them to stop making noise,
I tried to keep the child away from the noise, I thought he had also scared him,
but then more people made noise,
suddenly I felt a lot of pain,
I fell, I tried to cover the child,
but I closed my eyes,
and I did not want to open them anymore.

I'm Scarface, I'm a grizzly bear

and I'm too old,
some humans helped me a few years ago,
when my family was disappearing in my old home,
he was supposed to be safe now,
nothing could harm me anymore,
but when the fall came and there was some snow,
I heard something, something that was hiding from me,
I was really scared,
and I felt a lot of pain in various parts of my body,
as if he had been attacked by several bears,
I screamed and asked for help,
nobody came.

I'm Cecil, a lion from Zimbabwe,

things have been strange,
each time my pack has become smaller,
and the food has also decreased,
I was looking for food to send,
I smelled something and followed that scent,
but when I laughed it was almost there,
the aroma was going away again,
as if something moved him,
I realized that I was already very far from my pack,
and I decided to return so that nothing bad would happen,
I had to take care of them,
Suddenly something hurt me and I throw myself to the floor,
I could not get up,
I tried to call my pack, but nobody came,
I was there a long time,
it got dark, it made me cold, everything hurt,
I wanted him to stop hurting,
I wanted to see my pack,
warn them that there was something wrong,
then something came up,
I could not see what it was,
but it was in my head,
I heard a loud noise,
and then everything went dark.

My name is Leika and I am a dog,

they picked me up from the street,
I felt alone there,
and I thought I was going to be better,
but it was not totally true,
they put me in rare machines,
they asked me to do certain things that I could not always do,
but try not to complain,
I kept preparing for something,
I did not know what it was, but it sounded important,
One day they put me a machine that was bigger than the previous ones,
He moved a lot and suddenly he was in a very dark place,
I shouted for them to take me out,
I had been there too long,
every time he breathed with more difficulty,
I wanted to get out of there,
nobody came to help me,
In that moment I preferred to be in the street.

How many more have to die?

What do we have to do to make them react?
880 gorillas are killed a year by poaching,
There are around 200 thousand specimens of grizzly bear
There are about 160 lion farms as "trophies" only in South America,
And about 500,000 dogs are abandoned in Mexico every year.
How many more must die?
What can you do to change that?
