Step 1 Description
#1 video 1 Click Start >Settings > Control Panel, this will open a new
window with programs contained within Control Panel.
#2 video 1 Double click on Add/Remove Programs, then click on the
Startup Disk tab and click Create Disk
#3 video 1 Now the computer will ask for a diskette to be inserted in the A:
drive, put one in if necessary. Then push Enter when finished.

#4 video 1 Windows will prepare files and then a prompt will appear asking
for a diskette to be inserted in the A: drive then click OK, all the
needed files will be copied to the diskette.

#5 video 1 To check the files on the diskette double click My Computer,


then double click 3½ Floppy (A:) to view the contained files.

#6 video 1 Next, by typing 'exit', this will close the command window, and
making a DOS boot disk is complete.
