INTRODUCTION

On-the-Job Training refers to a method of acquiring knowledge, skills, and competencies

as a result of practical experience working in a related job environment. College universities

require their students to have their OJT as a part of the curriculum with a specific number of hours.

This type of training can help the students to become more familiar with the realities of working. In

doing the OJT or internship, the student trainees will learn to be more disciplined and organized in

every task that they were doing. Aside from having the chance to apply the skills and knowledge

they have learned from school, it may also provide the students the opportunities to go through the

actual methodologies of a specific job using the real tools, equipment and documents. On-the-Job

Training is significant because it takes skills training into the real world, and it may also serve as

the preliminary experience of the student in their life after they graduated. Aside from gaining

more knowledge about their field, the trainee will also be able to boost their self-esteem. They will

know how to socialize with different people around them and they will be more confident in what

they are doing. It also teaches students to produce in a different, more adult environment

By doing my internship /On The job training in an actual workplace, helps me know and

discover myself from different perspective. It also helps me develop my attitude and behavior in

dealing with different kinds of people and situation. It also helps me work in a systematic

organization and learn how to be independent in accomplishing my tasks.

Conclusion

Nothing beats experience as the perfect learning tools. I’ve been taken my On-The-

Job Training this academic year 2020 at the company CASURECO II. It lasted for 38 days only

because of the pandemic despite of the short period of time in my On-The-Job Training

I’ve learned a lot in this short period of time. I learned to be more sociable and to adjust

myself in the environment where I am working at and who I am working with.

Despite the short period of my training, it was still very meaningful one. They

teach me how to work properly and face all the pressure works in the office not to be

pressure. The training enriched my confidence to create a foundation of being a good

employee someday. I’ve learned to be diplomatic in both action and words. This training

made me realize that is really good to know what you’re doing and love it. I realized also

that I am still lack of knowledge then all I need to do is explore and improve my capabilities for

incoming future as now I will be more focused in school and do everything all I can do.

After the training, I realized that On-The-Job Training is not just a requirement to

be completed but it is an opportunity to show your skills, knowledge, and talents that I

have and also it is an opportunity to experience the feeling of being professional already
