Career Objective:
Contribute as a researcher and development worker in ensuring quality higher education relying on my scholarly and
professional exposures through research and promote in building a society we had long been sought after.
Professional Experience:
Developed expertise in leadership in Gov, International , multinational organization and university, (GoB, UNDP, DFID,
CEC, PKSF, Honda, NUB) for 20 years including 10 years in research and teaching with a gratifying no of published
research papers, reports ( one international report, one regional and four national) and Teaching Efficiency Rating
(TER) score of 90% plus.

Research Experience:
a) Conducting research under the direct supervision of Dr. M Z Mamun, Prof. and Director IBA, university of Dhaka as fellow
of PhD program on “Developing a model for evaluating MFIs operating in Bangladesh .” from 2007 t0 till today.
b) Working as the coordinator of CMDR (Centre for Management Development and Research), a research centre of Northern
University Bangladesh from May 2007.
c) Supervising students of BBA and MBA programs directly for their internship and dissertation report as per the rules of
Northern University Bangladesh from February 2008.
d) Served as a Jr. consultant in PEDP II Mid Term Review under the ADB consultant Prof. Dr. Mahmudul Alam under
Ministry of Primary Education and Mass Education from September 2007-January 2008 (Assisted by Development
Partners through co-financing with ADB)
e) Participated in the day long workshop on Research Methodology conducted by the AMDIB, IBA, university of Dhaka held
on June 9, 2007.
f) Conducted research under the joint supervision of Dr. Shamsul Haque and Prof. Iqbal Ahmad institute of Business
Administration (IBA), university of Dhaka on “Identifying Standards for MFIs in Bangladesh: A study on the scope of
CAMEL for rating POs of PKSF.” From 2001 to 2006.
g) Served as a Research Assistant in Task Force team set up by the interim Govt. 1991 under supervision of Dr. Mustafizur
Rahman, Member, Task Force team, from January 1991 to march 1991 under the Ministry of Planning.(Now ED for CPD)
h) Served as a Research Assistant under . supervision of Professor Md. Muiinuddin Khan, professor of department of
Accounting, university of Dhaka.in the study conducted for the planning commission for providing the technical frame work
for the preparation of Fourth Five yr plan entitled “A study on on jute and cotton textiles” which included evaluation of
foreign aids/grants in this big sector of the industry for a period of 20th June ’89 to 30 August ’90.
i) Conducted Research Methodology and Dissertation and Workshop courses for MBA Program.
a) Received training on “Financial Management and Reporting”, held in UNDP Dhaka office, from 22-26 May 1998.
b) Received training on “Urban Poverty Alleviation”, conducted by the Bangladesh Planning and Development
Academy, Dhaka, held from 14th to 18th May 2000.
c) Received various in house trainings of PKSF on Micro-Credit operation.
d) Organized and conducted different trainings for senior and mid-level officers of the Partner Organizations of
Eradication o Hazardous Child Labor in Bangladesh (EHCLB) project.
e) Participated in the day long workshop on Research Methodology conducted by the AMDIB, IBA, university of Dhaka held on June
9, 2007.
f) Presented Paper on “IIdentifying Standards for MFIs in Bangladesh: A Study on the Scope of CAMEL for Rating POs

industries (ISSI) in Cooperation with the Small Enterprises Research and Development Foundation (SERDEF),
University of the Philippines (UP), held from June 19-28, 2000.
b) Participated in the “Partners in Population and Development: A South Initiative’s Executive Committee Meeting”, held
in Mexico City, Mexico from April 21-24, 2003.
c) Participated in the regional internship course on “Labour and Social Policies for the Promotion of Decent Work”, held
in Bangkok, Thailand organized by International Institute of Labour Studies (IILS) and ILO Regional Office for Asia
and the Pacific (ROAP) from December 15-20, 2003
d) Participated in “Skill Training and Employment Promotion for Women through Strengthening the TTCs Project”, held in
Turin, Italy, and Geneva, Switzerland Organized by ILO from September 19-24, 2004
