With your answers above, answer the following questions:

7. 1 In what aspect does your idea/classroom practices similar to the concept presented in the
video?
My idea/classroom practices are somewhat similar to the concept presented in the
video. The video shows us that students should build creativity and not unlearn it by means of
manipulative or hands-on activities. As a teacher, I also give hands-on activities to my
learners. It is “learning by doing” as proposed by John Dewey. I believe that learners learn
best when they are actively engaged and apply their theoretical knowledge.
7.2 In what aspect/are you different from the concept presented in the video?
The only aspect that I think is different from my concept and in the video presented is
the instructional materials used. Since I am teaching in a far-flung area, I only used the
available resources found in the place. Legos, gadgets and other high-end materials are not
usually used in our school. I make use of localized or contextualized materials as an aid for
learning. Though the materials used are local, students creativity are not deprived.I believe
that it is not in the materials used, but on how you piqued students interest and make them
think critically so they can come out with a creative output.
1.3 What have you learned and realized? How will you apply the things you learned
to your current work?

We are all born as creative geniuses but that skill is slowly fading as we grow old if
we will not continue to develop it. Therefore, we teachers should see to it that we inspire
learners' interests in learning material. We should teach our students to be creative in their
thoughts and ideas in order to produce something different, something outside the box. In the
present condition where we are facing a pandemic, this is the best time to think creatively as
teachers as to how we can still deliver our lesson well without boring our students. This is yet
the most challenging period in our lives as a teacher as to how we can teach creativity to our
students. Nonetheless, teachers can still teach creatively and teach creativity!
