“By this time, I want you to get ¼ sheet of

“Listen carefully to my instruction. I will read a


sentence and afterwards I will recite the words “Yes, sir!”
that you will be spell out. I only read the

“I will divide you into two groups. For the first


group, you are going to discuss the character,
setting, and the theme of the story; and for
the next group, yours are the plot of the (Students do as told.)
story."

“Reminder: Each group must have one (Students’ answers may vary.)
representative to explain their work in front.”

“The group with most appropriate and


meaningful explanation will gain extra points. I
will give you 10 minutes for the activity.”

“Let the activity begin!”

“Okay class! Time’s up. Let’s now start hearing


each group’s work.”
