Introduction:
The IELTS listening component is broken down into four sections, with ten questions per section. The
test takers are assessed using different situations, which they usually encounter once they go to an
English-speaking country. The conversations here are so realistic that students are exposed to actual
issues they may encounter as a foreigner living in an English-speaking country or a student studying
abroad.

General Rule:
Answers are only given ONCE although they are dictated SEQUENTIALLY. To do well in the
test, always read the questions ahead before the start of each section.

In the IELTS, a mix of both American and British English words is used. Look at the
