Plant and Traffic Movement

This document outlines health and safety guidelines for several tasks involving the delivery, handling, storage, and machining of firefighting pipes and fittings. It identifies potential hazards for each task such as collisions with vehicles, falls, cuts, and entanglement in machinery. It provides mitigation measures like using mechanical aids for lifting, ensuring clear work areas, using proper protective equipment, implementing lock-out procedures for machinery, and providing trainings for safe operations. The overall goal is to reduce risks of accidents and injuries by enforcing proper procedures, supervision, housekeeping and use of safety equipment.
