Department of Civil Engineering Ce 522 (Computer Applications in Ce) July 30, 2020 (1:00 - 4:00)

This document outlines the requirements for the final examination in CE 522 Computer Applications in CE. It includes two problems - the analysis of a plane truss and the analysis and design of a multi-story frame. For the truss problem, students are asked to analyze member forces using GRASP software and investigate each member using GEAR software. For the frame problem, students are to analyze and design the frame for given loads and material properties using STAAD.pro, including support reactions, member stresses, beam design, column design, and a take off. Students are to submit files and results from the problems in folders that are then compressed into a zip file and emailed to the specified address.
