2. Volumetric flask – calibrated for exact

5. Dropper – also called Pasteur pipette, is a short
glass or plastic pipe with rubber on one side. It is

an object by the tension of a spring.
14. Graduated cylinder – used to measure the volume
of a liquid.
15. Burette – used to deliver known volumes of a
substance.
16. Balance – used to weigh objects.
17. Funnels – used to deliver substances into vessels
with small openings.
18. Wash bottle – used to rinse lab glassware and for
sterilization.
19. Ammeter – used to measure the amount of
current in a circuit.
20. Brushes for test tubes – used to clean containers
such as flasks, beakers, and test tubes.
