Benefits / Some Best Practices

• Setup workflow and deliverables in Templates for reuse

• Make sure all the pre-requisites such as setting up assignments, workflow template, trigger, deliverables are
all set before workflow is launched.

• Once workflow is launched, changing deliverables or assignments will not be transferred to workflow.

• Utilize Group or Resource Pool assignments right in schedule manager

• Complete workflow in Active workspace, Rich or Thin Client, system automated updates to schedule plan

• Use Manual Launch workflows sparingly, it is primarily designed as a quick way to re-launch failed
processes. Only coordinators can launch workflows manually

• Can set option to see the schedule / task deliverables and its statuses on MyTeamcenter
