IMPORTANT INSTRUCTIONS FOR CANDIDATES

A. GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS
1. The candidate is conditionally allowed to appear in the entrance examination without verifying whether or
not he/she satisfies the eligibility criteria. This will be verified at the time of admission, if granted.
2. Duration of each examination is 2 hours. The candidates are advised to reach the centre at least one hour
before commencement of exam. Candidate will not be permitted to enter the examination hall after 15
minutes of commencement of exam.
3. The question paper for admission to most of the courses is in the form of Objective or multiple choice
questions, which will be evaluated using the OMR technology. The candidate is therefore required to mark
the answers in the OMR Sheet with black or blue ball-point/sketch pen. Necessary instructions are given in
the respective questions papers.
4. The candidate has to appear for the test at the above mentioned Centre and Venue only.
5. The candidate must download the Hall Ticket and carry the same along with ID Proof (Aadhar or any other
ID card issued by Govt. of India) for verification at the time of written test and also at the time of interview if
shortlisted.
6. Malpractice/use of unfair means / creating disturbance etc. in any form will lead to disqualification in the
Entrance Exam.
7. After the Exam is over handover Question Paper / Answer Book / OMR etc. as instructed in the Question
paper to the invigilator. Any violation will lead to disqualification.
8. Candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC/EWS/PH/DP Categories are being provisionally allowed based on
their claim. However such candidates are advised to keep the certificate ready which will be verified at the
time of interview/admission. OBC Candidates are advised to have OBC (Non Creamy Layer) Certificate in
Government of India format issued after date 01-04-2017 to be shown at the time of interview and
admission. If a candidate shortlisted under above category doesnot have the certificate, then the claim on
admission will stand cancelled and the seat will be filled with other eligible candidate. Request for change of
Category will not be accepted under any circumstances at any stage.
9. Candidates are NOT allowed to carry any personal belongings like bags, books, written notes, bits of
paper, mobile phones, electronic gadgets etc. to the Examination Centre. Security Officials will not be
responsible for safe keep of personal belongings and there will be no such facility. However, in few courses
the Non-Scientific Calculator will be allowed.
10. Candidates are advised to check updates on UOH website regularly. They should also check their
mailbox on the registered E-mail address and SMS in their registered Mobile No. for latest updates and
information. For results and updates please visit http://acad.uohyd.ac.in/. No correspondence will be done by
post.

B. SPECIFIC INSTRUCTIONS IN THE WAKE OF COVID-19 [To be


followed strictly]

1. All candidates are required to download and carefully read the Instructions and Advisory for COVID-19
given in this Hall Ticket and the advisories issued by the Central/State governments and the local authorities.
2. Candidates should bring their own masks, face shields, gloves, hand sanitizers etc. as required.
Candidates will not be permitted inside the examination venue without face masks.
3. Candidates are required to submit a self-declaration on Covid-19 (as in section ‘D’ below) and submit at
the examination venue.
4. Temperature of all the candidates will be checked on entry into the examination venue and will be required
to sanitize their hands.
5. Any candidate experiencing symptoms like cough, sneeze, cold, fever etc. should inform the same to the
authorities well in advance for making necessary arrangements.
6. Candidates must maintain physical distancing right from the point of entry into the examination venue till
exit from the venue after the exam. The instructions given by the authorities at the examination venue should
be strictly followed.
7. In view of the limitation in transport facilities, candidates are advised to plan their travel to the examination
venue well in advance so as to prevent any problem on the day of examination.
8. Candidates will be permitted to carry only the following items with them into the examination
venue:
• Admit Card along with Self Declaration (Undertaking) downloaded from the UOH website (a clear
printout on A4 size paper) duly filled in.
• Personal hand sanitizer
• Personal transparent water bottle.

9. On completion of the examination, please wait for instructions from Invigilator and do not get up from your
seat until instructed. The candidates will be permitted to move out in a staggered manner.
10. In view of the pandemic, accompanying persons will not be provided any waiting place. However, they
are also advised to follow the guidelines for Covid-19 and maintain physical distancing.

C. ADDITIONAL INFORMATION AND ADVISORY TO CANDIDATES


UoH will strictly implement Physical Distancing measures as per Government of India guidelines in current
scenario of COVID-19 to ensure health &safety of the candidates. Adequate measures are implemented for
safety of all without compromising the high standards, sanctity, and fairness in conduct of the examination.
Candidates are also required to adhere to guidelines and new process for Physical Distancing and hygiene
to ensure safety &health of their own and fellow candidates. For safety purposes, UoH strongly advises
candidates not to bring anything other than permitted items.
1. Standard Operating Procedures for implementing safety precautions and for maintaining required standard
of hygiene will be strictly ensured.
2. Before each shift starts (and after last shift of the candidate) Seating Area will be thoroughly sanitized -
rooms, desk and the chair. All door handles, staircase railing, lift buttons, etc. will be disinfected. Wheelchairs
(if present at the venue) will be disinfected.
3. Hand Sanitizer will be available at entry of the exam venue at various places for candidates and officials.
4. Seating arrangement will be displayed at multiple places in the examination venue to avoid crowding. The
same will be also be informed to the candidate on entry to the exam venue.
5. Please note that no candidate will be denied permission to appear for examination. However, all
candidates are advised to strictly follow the instructions mentioned in the Hall Ticket and comply with them.
6. On completion of a shift, the candidates will be permitted to move out in an orderly manner one candidate
at a time. Please wait for instructions from invigilator and do not get up from your seat until advised.
7. SELF DECLARATION TO BE SUBMITTED BY THE CANDIDATES AT THE EXAMINATION VENUE
Please sign the below declaration only after thoroughly reading the above instructions which are vital for your
own safety and safety of others. This is mandatory requirement and has to be submitted at the entry point of
the venue.
