Appendix 1 Practical Task

This document is a practical task evaluation form used to assess a student's performance during their industrial training placement. It rates the student across 6 key areas on a scale of 1 to 5: 1) technology literacy, 2) effective communication, 3) teamwork, 4) policies/procedures, 5) professional ethics, and 6) reporting. The student's supervisor completes the form and provides an overall comment on the student's performance before returning it to the university contact.
