1.1.1 USER REGISTRATION .........................................................................................................................................3
Using this option, user shall be able to register in to the citizen portal.
1.1.1.1 Steps
1. Enter ‘https: //tnurbanepay.tn.gov.in/LoginPage.aspx’ in URL and click on ‘New User Registration’ option.
2. In the New Citizen Registration Page, enter all the necessary fields such as
1. Name
2. Email ID
3. Mobile No
4. Password & Confirm Password
5. DOB
6. Gender
7. Municipality/ Corporation Name
8. Pin Code
9. Area, Locality & Street
10. Building/ Landmark Name
11. Door No
12. Captcha Code
3. After entering all the mandatory fields, click on Submit Button.
4. If all the details are proper, a success pop up will come confirming the successful registration of the user.
This option helps to raise a request for new water supply connection and on submission of the request, it shall go
to the concerned officials for approval.
1.1.2.1 Steps
1. Go to ‘https: //tnurbanepay.tn.gov.in/LoginPage.aspx’.
2. Provide the Mobile No. or Email and password which the user entered while registration.
3. Enter the Captcha and click on Login Button.
4. In the home page, select ‘Create’ option under the service request option.
5. In the Create Service Request page, provide the details such as
1. Organization Name
2. Select Service Category as ‘Water Supply’
3. Service Name as ‘New Connection of Water Supply’
6. Click the pop up icon in Assessment No. textbox and immediately a pop up opens.
7. In the Pop up screen provide the following details (if required), and search the assessment no.
1. Assessment No
2. Old Assessment No
3. Assesse Name
4. Street
5. Ward
6. Mobile No
7. Property Type
8. Door No
10. Then if service area details is same as the above details, click ‘Yes’ checkbox else check no and provide the
following details under Service Area Details
1. Area
2. Locality
3. Street
4. Ward
11. After entering other details such as Aadhar card no and Email ID, in case if there are any mandatory
checklists, upload them and check the ‘Is Submitted’ checkbox.
User shall be able to pay the respective tax using this option.
1.1.3.1 Steps
1. Go to ‘https: //tnurbanepay.tn.gov.in/LoginPage.aspx’.
2. Provide the Mobile No. or Email and password which the user entered while registration.
3. Enter the Captcha and click on Login Button.
4. In the Home Page, under the make payment option, select the required option.
5. After redirecting to the Make Payment screen, provide either Old Connection No or Connection No (if it is
water supply). (If payment is for profession tax, enter the assessment No)
6. Upon entering of the connection no/ Assessment No, the respective details will load and the amount to
be paid is shown
7. Enter the required amount in the payment Amount textbox and click on submit.
8. Then payment confirmation screen will open and user need to enter the Captcha for confirmation of
payment and need to click on Confirm.
9. Then user will be redirected to payment gateway screen where the user need to provide his payment
method (credit/ debit cards or through net banking).
10. Upon successful payment, user will be redirected to Payment Confirmation screen where user is informed
that the payment which he made is successful and he is informed about the receipt no.
1.1.4.1 Steps
1. Go to ‘https: //tnurbanepay.tn.gov.in/LoginPage.aspx’.
2. Provide the Mobile No. or Email and password which the user entered while registration.
3. Enter the Captcha and click on Login Button.
4. In the Home Page, under the make payment option, select the ‘My Payment’ option.
5. Then user will be redirected to My Receipts screen where user will be able to see the list of receipts of his
payment so far.
6. When clicked on Receipt No, a pop up will open and user will be able to view his receipt and take the print
out of it.
