introduce our speaker today, Mr. Abhay M Bhat, who is going to talk to us about the topic of
Strategy management for corporate lawyers
This is a subject in which we should all be deeply interested because being law graduates who
are pursuing management, it is essential for us to learn in depth about being a corporate lawyer.
Mr Abhay Bhatt is currently a specialist consultant in the Legal, Ethics, Compliance &
Investigations domain. He is also a visiting faculty at our college for various MBA programs
which are Corporate Ethics, Legal Environment of Organizations and Ethics in Entrepreneurship
& Family Business
Sir has a work experience of over 25 years which spans across various organizations such as
Prabhu group of companies, Essel propack ltd, pangea3 LLC and was associated was with Dun
& Bradstreet Information Services India Private Limited (“D&B-India”) for 14 years where
amongst other things he was solely responsible for starting and setting up its legal and
compliance department. Sir has also co-authored an article titled “Ethics As A Driver Of
Company Performance”, that was featured in the first edition of the Business Ethics Leadership
Alliance South Asia magazine unveiled at its First Annual Ethics Summit held in September
2018.
So without further ado I would like the class to welcome Abhay sir and to ensure that they leave
the lecture taking in the valuable knowledge that sir shall impart.
