As for someone who is starting their career in Freelancing, learning how to create

a basic WordPress website for yourself either to show your portfolio or to


demonstrate your services, this is one of the most basic skills you need to
achieve. You don’t have to hire someone to build a website for you.

You don’t have to be a hardcore programmer or a coder, but just familiar with using
your computer, able to browse the internet and also a bit of creative mind.

WORDPRESS: In basic terms, WordPress is a tool that acts as a backend server for
your website. In technical terms, it is a ‘Content Management Systems (CMS). The
name itself says what it does: manages your website. Learn these points:

- Understanding the WordPress dashboard.

policy, etc and it cannot be achieved solely with free themes.
