Company Overview

beautiful, intelligible and useful. Our team includes a dedicated data scientist, full stack
developers, project managers and battle tested U/X designers. We like solving tough

Our mission is civically driven; we work with government organizations and socially
minded groups to execute large scale projects that facilitate, encourage and
improve the democratic process. Our in-house data analytics platform, Correlate is
a customizable SaaS analytics tool currently in place in the U.S. Congress, the FDA,
Digitas and a wide range of not-for-profit data centric organizations. Our digital agency
capabilities are broad. IB5k works with experts in the field of software development,
advertising and network video production. At our New York HQ offices, our digital
agency is focused on building software tools for a wide range of commercial, non
profit and start-up clients.

Position Overview
The role of a full-stack, Ruby/Js developer at IB5k is intended for someone who
will be both well integrated into the team and our current project pipeline, but also
possess the skills and capacity to work independently. We are seeking someone with
at least 2 years of professional experience who has built applications themselves from
scratch, or who has collaborated extensively with teams working on full-stack, scalable
applications.

IB5k seeks a person who is a self-starter and who works well in a small, tight-knit
environment while maintaining a high level of professionalism and organizational
competence. We place an extremely high premium on communication skills. We
are looking for team players and not rock stars. An excellent candidate is someone
who can balance knowing how to take direction and when to take initiative. If you are
motivated by challenges and committed to good work for simply the sake of good
work, this could be the place for you.

The successful candidate will be intellectually and creatively driven with knowledge
of and interest in the tech, art and design community. Our offices are in Soho and the
position is New York City based.

Compensation

This position’s compensation will be commensurate with experience. We are a small company with a dedicated group
