III. Development

A. Motivation
Week 1 – “Your Interest” (5 mins)
• The teacher will these questions to the students:
o Have you eaten at the fast food? What are those specific fast foods?
o Where do you usually buy your clothes, shoes or phones?
o Where do you usually go to buy school supplies?
o If you are sick, where does your parent usually buy for some medicines?
• The teacher will call students to answer each question.

A. Activity (10 mins)


(Roundtable)
 The teacher will ask the students to form their group.
 Each group will be given cartolina and marker.
 The teacher will ask the students to bring out their assignment and share it to the group. They
will ask to list all the famous entrepreneurs along with their business they have listed in their
notebook. Prize will be given to the group with the longest list of entrepreneurs.
 After that, they will present it to the class.

B. Discussion (20 mins)


TOPIC: Successful Entrepreneurs
(Watch Me)
 After the activity, the teacher will discuss further the successful entrepreneurs.
 The teacher will play a video about the known Filipino entrepreneurs for the students to have
an idea of these people start their business and how they became successful.

C. Quiz (10 mins)


Written Work #2
(Quiz #2)
 The teacher will explain the procedures for the quiz.
*Please see attached paper for the quiz.

D. Generalization (5 mins)
 The teacher will ask few questions about the discussions and will randomly call students to
answer it.

Day 2
Objective: Demonstrate the characteristics of a successful entrepreneurs.
Appreciate the importance of entrepreneurs.

A. Recall (5 mins)
(Fish Bowl)
 The teacher will prepare a fish bowl which consist of different successful entrepreneurs. The
teacher will call student to pick from the bowl, then tell and explain what the business of that
entrepreneur is and how this entrepreneur became successful.

B. Activity (25 mins)


Performance Task #3 (5 mins)
(Presentation of Assignment – Essay)
 The teacher will call two (2) to three (3) students present their answer to the essay questions.
Then ask the students to pass their work.

Performance Task #4 (20 mins)


(Interview)
 The teacher will divide the class into six (6) groups. Then ask the students to form a questions
first before they conduct an interview.
 The students will conduct an interview at the school cafeteria. They will interview an
entrepreneur in the school community on how he/she was able to start a business.
 After the activity, one representative from the group will present their work.

C. Generalization (5 mins)

 The teacher will randomly call students to share what they have learned.

 Ask the students to stand up, raise their hands and high-five a peer, their short-term hustle
buddy. When there is someone who does not have a high five partners, that certain students
will shared what he/she learned from the lesson. Then play “Do the Hustle” as a signal for
them to raise their hands and high-five a different partner for the next person who are going to
share their learnings. The teacher will repeat this activity for two (2) to three (3) times.

D. Values Integration/Valuing
 Hardwork – Let the students realize how important it is to have the qualities that an
entrepreneur must have. And they can’t achieve what they want to achieve if they aren’t work
hard to reach it.
