    PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

     Responsible for daily maintenance activity of the boilers & its auxiliary equipment Especially
    Coal Mill Section in a safe and efficient manner during the assigned shift.
     Supervise all aspects of the thermal power plant during assigned shift and effectively provide
    direction to lower level plant workers.
     Planning the predictive & preventive maintenance and annual overhauling schedules of
    various machinery and equipments to increase machine up time / equipment reliability;
    thereby accomplishing planned production target.
     Proactively identifying areas of obstruction / breakdowns and taking steps to rectify the
    equipments through application of trouble shooting tools.
     Arranging the site technical meets on technical issue and providing suggestions for
    rectification.
     To keep close monitoring of all machine at the site to minimize the equipments breakdown.
     Coordination with other teams and department for smooth functioning of the site.
     Available to work shift or weekends as part of a normal rotation.
     Supervising and ability to handle the maintenance manpower’s to ensure jobs are effectively
    carried out within the stipulated time frame.
     Monitor day to day work progress and prepare Daily, weekly and monthly program and
    progress report.

     Maintenance & Annual overhauling of ID,FD,PA,SEAL AIR & SCANNER AIR FANS
    including Dismantling of couplings, alignment of DE TO NDE through dial gauge and laser
    alignment , Bearings cleaning and greasing, replacement of gear box to spool piece to
    minimize the electrical consumption.
