UG COURSES GUIDELINES 2017 -18

Note:

 The college does not accept Capitation fee or Donations nor employ agents for seats.
 A few UG courses admit students based on an entrance exam.

1. Required information in each item in the form should be entered completely.

2. Candidates claiming seats under Reservation should enclose appropriate valid certificates.

3. Incomplete applications and false declarations will automatically invalidate the applications.

4. Applications received after the last date will not be entertained.

5. The Management does not entertain recommendations for Admission. For any information

Kindly contact the college office directly.

6. One Passport Size and two stamp size photographs and one family photograph should be
produced at the time of Admission interview.

7. For change of combination, a written permission from the Principal should be obtained.

8. Students are required to opt for same second language as was studied at the previous

Qualifying examination.

9. All foreign students have to submit two copies of their passports, marks cards duly attested
by a Gazetted Officer and 2 passport size photographs.

10. Fees should be paid on the day of the personal interview. Fees once paid will not
be refunded under any circumstances.

11. If admitted, all foreign nationals should apply for the Eligibility Certificate from Bangalore

University through the college office.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR CANDIDATES SEEKING ADMISSION UNDER RESERVATION CATEGORY

1. Roman Catholic (RC) will have to enclose a copy of a letter from the parish priest stating that
they are practicing Catholics and Baptism Certificate has to be produced at the time of
Admission interview.

2. SC/ST and Category-I candidates should enclose copies of caste certificates issued by a
Revenue Officer not below the Rank of a Tahsildar, with a validity of 5 years.
3. Category IIA, IIB, IIIA, IIIB candidates should enclose attested copies of the follow

a. Caste and Income certificate of parent or guardian (if neither parent is alive) issued by a
Revenue Officer not below the Rank of a Tahsildar in the format prescribed by the
Govt. of Karnataka. Caste and income certificates signed by Oath Commissioner, Sub
Registrars and Non-Revenue Officers are not valid.
b. Declaration by Parent / Guardian that
i. He / She is not an Income Tax or Sales Tax assessee.
ii. That either parent singly or jointly does not own eight hectares of rain fed or
dry land or equivalent land.

iii. That he/she is not serving as class I or II Gazetted Officer in Govt. nor holding an
equivalent post in public sector nor holding a post in any private sector unit
drawing equivalent salary.

iv. Differentially Abled Candidates should enclose a copy of disability or handicap


certificates issued by a Registered Medical Practitioner
4. Last date for submission of applications is as announced on the Notice Board of the College.
5. Lists of candidates selected for admission will be announced on the College Notice Board.
Candidates are advised to check the Notice Board in this regard.
6. The Interview dates will be displayed on the alerts screen in the unique id registration portal.

7. Abbreviations for Special Categories:

(SC/ST) Schedule Caste / Schedule Tribe (GM) General Merit


(RC) Roman Catholic (OC) Other Christians
(DA) Differentially Abled (Ex) Ex-service Men

Important:
 Fees once paid will not be refunded.
 In case the student discontinues the course mid-stream, she has to pay the fees of the entire
course before her Transfer Certificate is issued.
