Circuit Wizard - Egg Timer - CWZ

This circuit functions as an automatic egg timer. When the user presses switch SW1, a 555 timer IC will generate a pulse to power a buzzer for an adjustable amount of time determined by variable resistor VR1. Once the set time expires, buzzer BZ1 will sound to indicate the eggs are finished cooking.

Egg Timer—Provides an automatic egg timer.

Click on the Run button to simulate the circuit.


Once simulating you can click on variable resistor
VR1 to adjust the cooking time. Switch SW1 will
start the timer—a buzzer will sound when the time
has expired.
