1. In setting up a business outside of your home country, what are the four major issues that
Human Resource must address and why?

2. In marketing a product or service in other countries, companies must take into account the
advantages and disadvantages of the Standardization and Adaptation approach. Which do you
think is the best approach?

The best approach in marketing a product or service in other countries is STANDARDIZATION it


has an advantage related to cost. Because the existing domestic production, research and
development, and marketing strategies can be employed, standardization avoids the expense of
establishing new operations. Another benefits is that the standardization strategy can be quickly
implemented because companies will not need to spend time developing new ways to markets
their products to foreign markets.

3. What are the four major methods in developing an International Promotion Mix?

The international marketing manager has four major methods that can be used to promote the
products and services in international markets: advertising, personal selling, sales promotion,
and publicity. Each has advantages and disadvantages that must be considered by the marketing
manager when deciding upon the promotion strategy. Each option must be evaluated with
regard to how likely it will achieve various promotion objectives, such as generating sales,
increasing awareness of the product or service, reminding customers to purchase the product or
service, or increasing the number of purchases.

With all this uncertainty because of COVID-19, companies with essential products like Alcohol,
Food, Pharmaceuticals continue to advertise, yes, and the best kind of promotion mix is
PUBLICITY is the best strategy because its enable an organization to influence a target audience
and through this it create a favorable and positive image for the company. The company can
connect with the customers by sharing information with them about the company and about
the product, this kind of promotion will help customers to know what kind of product should be
