General instruction and Rules for Code Maestro

General Instruction
1. No electronic devices and books should be brought into the contest area and no on-line
references will be allowed.
2. This is not a Team event.
3. Participation for this event is open for second year and above of engineering students.
Students from any engineering discipline/ branch may participate.
4. When you are finished with the exam, do not share your solutions with anyone.

Rules for First Round (Code Maestro) Timing: 30 minutes


5. Participants should be select one question paper randomly from the set of question
papers.
6. After selecting the question paper, you may choose to use any of the programming
languages like C or C++ to develop the code.
7. You should develop the code relevant to the Questions directly into the system.
8. Once you complete the code, you should inform to the event coordinator/event
representative to verify the code and output. The event coordinator decision will be final.
9. The shortlisted participants name should be displayed in the Notice board/lab door.

Rules for Second Round/Final Round (Code Maestro) Timing: 40minutes


1. Participants should be select one question paper randomly from the set of question
papers.
2. After selecting the question paper, you should develop the code relevant to the Questions
with the mentioned languages (such as C, C++ and Java) directly into the system.
3. Once you complete the code, you should inform to the event coordinator/event
representative to verify the code and output. The event coordinator decision will be final.
4. The winners of the event list should be displayed in the Notice board/lab door.
