    Directions: Read the paragraph below and answer the question that follows.
    The disadvantage of the quantitative research approach is that, because the study contains so many participants, the
    answers research participants are able to give do not have much depth. They have to be superficial, or else the researcher
    would be overwhelmed by information that cannot be adequately analyzed. In a 2001 survey (total sample size n = 1105; age
    group 15 to 19 years old) found that 24.3% of the total population sampled were current drinkers. 42.4% of males and 11.1% of
    females were reported to be currently drinking alcohol. 1
