Advance Microprocessor System Design

This document provides an overview of a PWM-based DC fan control system design project using a NuMaker UNO kit. The goals are to program the microcontroller board to: 1) blink an LED, 2) read the status of a connected switch, 3) read analog inputs, 4) control a 7-segment display, 5) generate PWM signals, and 6) integrate the programs to control the speed of a DC fan. The design hierarchy copies templates from the board support package and modifies them for the desired programs. Diagrams show the hardware connections for the switch, LEDs, and analog input. Code snippets demonstrate reading the switch status and analog interrupts.

Goals

1. To program the NuMaker board for LED blinking


2. To read the status of switch connected to NUC131

Design Hierarchy

modified for the desired program
NuMaker UNO kit is connected to the USB port on the Laptop (Shown below)

When the kit is connected to the PC, it will show the ICE
version and Device ID (If Nu-Link driver is installed properly)

The switch is connected to Port (PF.4)


and LED1 and LED2 are connected to
pins 11 and 13 of Port B.
