Power Supply ZG 0342 allows mains

ments such as the 2140 family of
portable analyzers. It plugs directly
into the battery compartment of
these instruments, or can be used ex-
ternally for simultaneously powering
an instrument and recharging the
NiCd batteries contained in the plug-
in battery pack.
The ZG 0342 is double insulated
and fulfils IEC 1010–1, class II. It
can be powered from AC mains volt-
age supplies in the range 90 V to
264 V (47 to 65 Hz) and has a maxi-
mum power consumption of 37 W. The
power supply is protected against
overheating by a resetting thermal
switch.
ZG 0342 has excellent immunity to
mains-carried noise and transients
and an extremely low stray magnetic
field (see Specifications).
When it is plugged into the battery
compartment of an instrument, the rechargeable batteries (QB 0008) for
