    Amid the global corona virus pandemic situation, every sector is shifting to remote working
    programmes such as work-from-home. This is the best way to keep a business running
    nowadays. Law firms are no exception in following this trend. They have started adopting new
    technologies and practices to convert to ‘virtual law firm’.

    Required Software

    Legal Software

    Westlaw and Lexis-Nexis are the most known among lawyers, but there are some good
    alternatives for legal research including Casetext, Fastcase and Ravel (also owned by Lexis).
    Law Geex, Legal Sifter, Evisort, Link Squares, Seal and Kira Systems are some of the most
    efficient contract analysis, management and automation tools.

    Project Management Software

    Another important tool for law firms to work smoothly is project management software.
    Introducing project management softwares in legal work is beneficial in several ways.
    Jira, Asana and Airtable etc are really helpful.

    Time and Billing Software

    These kinds of software programmes are used to track time, make invoices and account
    reconciliation statements. For individual attorney, software like PCLaw is helpful.

    CRM Software

    to get accustomed with technological advancements. Investing in these can prove to be beneficial
    in long run. In near future, the concept of virtual law firm will be more relevant and if the firms
    wish to stay in the competitive field, it is a must for them to upgrade their virtual working
    infrastructure.
