The printer template editor software allows the user to modify and customize the style of a printer template for
the HumaCount 5D. The program can be installed and run on a windows PC.
Please be aware that only printer templates for reporting patient data can be modified. Modification of QC-printer
templates is not possible.

1 Download and installation of the printer template editor software

The software can be downloaded from the login area of the HUMAN Webpage:

Download the software, unzip the file and install the RPTDesigner.exe on your computer:

2 Exporting a printer template from the HC5D

Insert a USB disk to the machine and go to “Setup” => “Print settings”
Select the printer template of interest and then click “export” to save the template to the USB disk.

3 Import of the printer template into the “Printing Template Editor” Software

Start the printing template editor (RPT Designer) and log into the software as service
authority.

Login name: service


Password: dm_ser0620

After login, the software main interface will open:

4 Edit a printer template

Go to “file” => “open” and select the printer template which should be edited:

The template will be shown and can be modified:

A double-click in the template field will open a properties dialog box. Here the text content can be edited.

To adjust the field position, hold the left mouse button to choose the area where you want to adjust and then use
the direction key(↑or ↓)on the keyboard to do the position adjustment.

If you want to add a picture to the template, click the “add picture button”. You will find this option at the left side
of the screen.

5 Save a printer template and import it to the HC5D

When the adjustment of the template is finished, go to “Report” => “Page settings” => “Report setting” to save the
report name. This step is important because this is the template name you will see when importing it into the
HC5D.
Then go back to the main menu to save the report as a new printing template. The new file name of the template
should be different to the original file name.

Copy the new printing template to a USB drive and insert it to the HC5D. Then go to “Setup” => “Print settings”.
Click “Import” and select the new printing template.

Please be aware that editing of the QC print report is not supported.
